During Onam, a festival of Kerala, it is traditional to return home to receive food from your mother's hands. Naturally, thousands of Amma's children gather at the ashram at Amritapuri every year on Onam day.
On this particular Onam day in 2002, Amma surprised everyone by encouraging one and all to shed their inhibitions and join Amma in a dance of pure spiritual joy. This color video documents that rare event.
